Panja

Panja is een rock ‘n roll band uit Amsterdam die op het podium barst van de energie. Een bak vol strakke riffs en harde drums. Ze mixen blues, country en rock en spelen altijd alsof het hun laatste show is. Van zweterige kleine clubs tot grotere zalen, zolang het maar hard en eerlijk is. Verwacht geen gelikte popliedjes, maar pure expressie! Een hoogst entertainende live act die je bij blijft.

Panja gaat eveneens al een tijdje mee en begon ooit als een groep vrienden die samen in de kroeg werkte. Na vele knallende optredens in Amsterdam waarbij voornamelijk covers werden gespeeld van onder andere Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers en The Black Keys begon de band langzaam steeds meer zelf repertoire te schrijven en een eigen stijl te ontwikkelen. Uiteindelijk is dat zo uit de hand gelopen dat daar wel een album van te maken viel, dus dat hebben we dan ook maar gedaan. Op het podium barst de band van de energie met een frontman die doet denken aan Mick Jagger in zijn jongere jaren, mondharmonica’s worden niet geschuwd en het is altijd een groot feest!

These Amsterdam rock veterans are on a mission to reclaim their place at the top. With years of experience on major stages, they’re back with new music and even received official clearance from The Rolling Stones for their cover of Bitch. Their sound is dominated by Fender, Gibson, bass, and drums, ensuring an explosive performance. This is rock music the way it’s meant to be played. Expect a show filled with passion, grit, and legendary energy.
